Jammu & Kashmir Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board – JKBOCWWB under the Labour Department of J&K has released medical assistance scheme. This scheme is to support registered construction workers and their families facing medical emergencies or health related issues or any other illness. This scheme aids in health and welfare to those workers who are working as construction worker. Workers registered for this scheme will receive rs 5000 to rs 10000 for disability and 75000 for permanent disability candidate whereas rs 100000 for chronic disease treatment. Who Can Apply for JKBOCWWB Medical Assistance?

The Financial Assistance for Medical scheme is applicable for applicants working as workers in building and construction work from last 90 Days:

Step by Step Registration process for Building or Construction Worker

Before applying for the medical assistance scheme, worker must be registered under JKBOCWWB and should have worked for 90 days in last 12 months and registration process is fully online on offline website:

Registration Process

  1. Visit the official website of JKBOCWWB at jkbocw.gov.in
  2. Go onto new registration section on homepage and select labour registration.
  3. On the homepage select Labour Registration link.
  4. Click on Apply for New Registration if you’re a new user.
  5. Start filling your personal and work details carefully.
  6. Submit the form and verify your mobile number through OTP send on mobile number.
  7. After OTP verification candidate will get Login ID and Password through SMS.
  8. Candidate need to enter login details for application form filling process.
  9. Complete application form then upload copies of documents.
  10. Pay fee for registration mentioned in notification.
  11. After successfully submitting your application form candidate will get Registation number.

After successfully registering candidate can fill application form by following steps:

  1. Go on official website at jkbocw.gov.in
  2. Login using login details registration number and password.
  3. After login click on scheme applying for.
  4. Select – Financial Assistance for Medical from the list of available scheme.
  5. Fill in all required information regarding your medical condition or disability and other information.
  6. Upload necessary documents including medical certificates, bills and ID proof.
  7. Fina submit by clicking submit.

Applicants can easily track their application status online through the JKBOCWWB website.

  • Visit the official website of JKBOCW.
  • go onto track Application status and enter details.
  • Enter your application or registration number and password.
  • You will receive the latest updates about your application, including approval or rejection notifications.

Status alerts are also sent via SMS to the applicant’s registered mobile number.
