How to Update Aadhaar Details Online

Updating Aadhaar online has become much easier in 2025. Follow the steps below:

1. Visit myAadhaar portal.
2. Log in using your Aadhaar number and OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
3. Click on link of Update Demographics Data.
4. Select the field candidates wish to modify – name, addressor DOB.
5. Upload the supporting documents in PDF or JPEG format.
6. Review your details and submit the request.
7. Note down the Update Request Number for tracking.

Offline Method to Update Aadhaar

For those who prefer in-person verification, Aadhaar can also be updated offline:

1. Visit your nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra or CSC.
2. Fill the Aadhaar Update Form with accurate details.
3. Provide original documents for on-site verification.
4. Pay the nominal service charge of ₹50 per update.
5. Receive an acknowledgement slip containing your URN.

Once verified by UIDAI, your Aadhaar card will be dispatched to your registered address.
